Menashe Kadishman – Canvas Forest – Israel Museum, Jerusalem, 1975

‘’Inside the ‘’Canvas Forest’ that constituted a labyrinth in perpetual motion of white surfaces reflecting the sunlight and accentuated shadows, the visitors were moving inside apertures of non existent trees in order to discover the landscape of Jerusalem cut in the shape of a tree, within the rustling movement of the huge canvas, similar to the rustle of tree branches in the wind.
